Ashley is the CEO & Founder of Guild, a private professional messaging app that meets new standards, yet is as easy to use as WhatsApp. It is advertising free, and GDPR compliant. He was also the founder of Econsultancy, a digital marketing best practice community.
Ashley is one of the most influential and connected figures in digital and marketing. He is the author of two best-selling books on digital. A columnist, commentator and blogger, he speaks worldwide on digital and marketing trends and best practice.
Ashley is involved in several digital businesses and ventures as investor, adviser and mentor.

Max Puller, Director of Employee and Change Communications at Sodexo

Max has responsibility for reaching, engaging and inspiring 36,000 employees operating across 2,300 client sites in the UK and Ireland. Sodexo is a multi-award-winning managed services company, operating in 72 countries around the world.

Previous roles include Account Director at healthcare communications agency, Pegasus, and Chief Communications Officer at the Ministry of Defence.
Max is also Non-Executive Director for the Salvation Army in the UK and Ireland, providing strategic level advice on fundraising, marketing and communications issues.

Jenni Field, President, CIPR & Founder of Redefining Communications

Jenni Field has over 15 years’ experience in communications, specialising in helping organisations go from chaos to calm; working with organisations to help them understand how to get teams to work together better and operations to work more efficiently.

Everything Jenni does starts with insight and having set up communication functions in pharmaceutical, hospitality and advertising industries, she is an expert in ensuring alignment between the communication and business strategy.

Jenni is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), she is a Chartered practitioner, and qualified in internal communications.

Annique Simpson

Annique Simpson is an award-winning corporate communications specialist with four years’ experience spanning housing, telecommunications, banking, and healthcare. She holds a BSc in Psychology, a journalism postgraduate diploma, and a CIPR Internal Communications postgraduate certificate. Her interest areas include change communications, measurement and evaluation, event management and all things content. She has won several awards for her work, including the Moorfields Eye Charity Award for Innovation, Education and Research (2016). She also received the runner-up prize for the CIPR Inside’s Future Leader Award (2017) after only one year in industry.

Annique has a monthly blog exploring communications through a psychology lens. She spends the rest of her free time going to music gigs, playing her piano or hanging out on Twitter.

Sarah Meurer, Head of Internal Communications at Nestle UK & Ireland

Sarah Meurer is Head of Internal Communications at Nestle UK & Ireland. Sarah is an expert director with 20 years’ experience in corporate communications specialising in strategy and planning. Previous roles include Director of Customer Communications National Grid, Head of Internal Communications for the Department for business, Innovation and Skills and Director of Communications for GSK.

Cathrin Lemoine, Global Internal Communications Manager, Dr. Martens

Cathrin Lemoine leads internal communications globally for Dr. Martens, the iconic shoewear brand that has been empowering rebellious self-expression for the past six decades. With 10+ years of experience developing global communications functions at media, professional services, and technology companies, Cathrin found her passion and purpose in enriching employees’ experience of their life at work through strategic communications that puts the employee at the heart. Cathrin believes in the power of communications to grow and sustain healthy, productive, and thriving organisational cultures that attract and engage top talent.

Rachel Royall, Director of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences at Markettiers4DC

Rachel Royall is Director of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences at Markettiers4DC a broadcast communication agency. Rachel has led Board level communications for complex organisations including IBM, NHS, HM Revenue and Customs, Cabinet Office, Department of Health and Social Care and local government.

Rachel is a Chartered Institute of Public Relations Fellow and Chartered Practitioner, Council member and chair of the CIPR Health Group. She is also a visiting lecturer at Quadriga University of Science and Technology in Berlin.

Andrew Hubbard, Group Head of Channels and Content at National Grid

Andrew is the Group Head of Channels and Content at National Grid, he has worked in IC teams Rolls-Royce, Santander and Network Rail over the past decade.

Luke Mepham, Service Owner for Collaboration at Aviva plc

Luke Mepham is Service Owner for Collaboration at Aviva plc. He has more than 20 years’ experience working in a variety of people-focused, IT-led roles. Luke has over a decade of experience of Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 (O365) in large multinational regulated industries. He has worked on one of the first implementations of BPOS-d (the forerunner to O365) through to managing the fast-evolving service Microsoft offers today. He specialises in supporting Communications, HR and technical teams in the introduction, strategy and management of collaboration, messaging and identity products, and in translating business deliverable’s into technology solutions. Luke and Jonathan Philips, Head of Consultancy at simplycommunicate are two of the founders of Intranetizen.

Abhijit Shanker, Chief of Communication, UNICEF

Abhijit ‘Jeet’ Shanker is a Global Internal Communications & Employee Engagement leader across commercial and not-for-profit sectors. His experience includes driving Communications & Change Management Campaigns in large global organisations. During his career, he has been the founder and Chief of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)’s Global Internal Communications function for over a decade, where he was responsible for leading communication teams across 125+ countries, measuring social impact and purpose.

His education includes MBA, PhD and independent courses focused on Data Science, Social Impact, Leadership and Communication at UPenn, Johns Hopkins, Harvard University, INSEAD, University of Witwatersrand South Africa and University of Sussex, UK.
