Daniel Penton studied journalism before starting his career in communications 13 years ago. Specialising in internal and change communications, he has supported a wide variety of companies including IBM, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group and GSK on large scale and complex change programmes. A digital workplace specialist, he has been instrumental in utilising technology to help organisations and their leaders turn ideas into reality. Recent experience in this field includes helping a global bank initiate and foster dialogue across stakeholder groups, regions and organisational units by building a bespoke training and communication platform and being part of the global deployment team for Workplace by Facebook at a global pharmaceutical company. Daniel is also passionate about communication planning and is co-founder of SaaS planning tool – www.ICPlan.com used by organisations including B&Q and Transport for New South Wales.
