IBM updates Connections, its enterprise social network

IBM has added new features to its enterprise social network platform in order to make it simpler for employees to share knowledge and collaborate with each other.

The latest version of the platform, IBM Connections, is set to be released on 28 March. It will also include tools to help onboard new employees.

IBM describe the platform as a tool to help engage the right people, accelerate innovation and deliver results. Using the platform helps co-workers to confidently share knowledge beyond traditional organisational boundaries. Improve decision-making, increase productivity and accelerate time to market on a platform that is delivered on premises or as software as a service on IBM Cloud.

In addition, the new version of Connections will include a Touchpoint experience for new users. Touchpoint intends to make it easier to onboard new employees by providing a guided introduction to the Enterprise Social Network thus improving a new user’s experience with the platform.
