Nokia 3310 ‘the most reliable phone ever made’ to be relaunched

The Nokia 3310 has gained cult status since its initial release in 2000. Widely remembered for its reliability and near indestructibility – it was one of the world’s best selling phones with 126 million units sold globally.

Yesterday, it was reported that a modernised version of the 3310 would be unveiled at the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona with the price point of 59 euros. The phone is likely to be pitched as a reliable second phone to people who fondly remember it the first time round.

As devices become increasingly more complicated – the Nokia 3310 is a welcome return to a simpler time of mobile communication.
